Hearty Hemp Breakfast Cereal

This is a delicious, nutrient and protein dense way to start your morning off right! Hemp hearts are full of Omega 3’s, gluten free and are so easy to use in almost any recipe.

½ c. raw shelled hemp hearts (I recommend Manitoba Harvest)

2 tbsp raw pumpkin seeds

1 tbsp raw walnuts or cashews (or both)

1 tbsp raw sunflower seeds

1 tbsp chaia seeds

Cinnamon to taste

1 tsp Maca powder (I recommend Nativas Naturals)

½ tbsp raw honey

OR

4 drops stevia liquid (vanilla flavored)

·        Combine hemp hearts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chaia seeds, Maca powder and cinnamon in a bowl.

·       Sprinkle with cinnamon

·       Add almond milk, coconut milk or rice milk to cereal mixture OR add cereal mixture to full fat Greek or coconut yogurt

·       Add raw honey OR stevia drops to sweeten

·       Dig in!
