Chocolate Banana Shake
Ingredients
Serves 2
2 ripe bananas (frozen makes it thicker)
1 cup unsweetened almond/coconut milk
2 medjool dates pitted
3-4 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder or raw cacao
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 large handful of spinach
1 celery stalk
Ice (optional)
Directions
1. In a high speed blender or food processor, add unsweetened almond milk, bananas and dates. Blend on high.
2. Add in spinach and celery. Blend until smooth and creamy.
3. Add in cocoa/cacao, vanilla extract and ice. Blend until desired thickness.
4. Less ice=thinner shake; more ice=thicker. Adjust flavor to your liking by adding in more cocoa, vanilla or almond milk.
