Pear, Walnut and Goat Cheese Toast


1/2 ripe pear

1 tsp chopped walnuts

1 oz soft goat cheese

1 slice sourdough, spelt, sprouted or gluten-free bread


  1. Toast bread slice and spread goat cheese to cover.
  2. Use a spiralizer or mandolin to create thin strands or simply slice the pear in thin pieces.
  3. Place the pear strings or slices on top of the goat cheese and sprinkle with walnuts.



If you don’t like pears, substitute apples, fresh figs or even cucumber.
