1/2 ripe pear
1 tsp chopped walnuts
1 oz soft goat cheese
1 slice sourdough, spelt, sprouted or gluten-free bread
- Toast bread slice and spread goat cheese to cover.
- Use a spiralizer or mandolin to create thin strands or simply slice the pear in thin pieces.
- Place the pear strings or slices on top of the goat cheese and sprinkle with walnuts.
If you don’t like pears, substitute apples, fresh figs or even cucumber.
