Hearty Hemp Breakfast Cereal
This is a delicious, nutrient and protein dense way to start your morning off right! Hemp hearts are full of Omega 3’s, gluten free and are so easy to use in almost any recipe.
½ c. raw shelled hemp hearts (I recommend Manitoba Harvest)
2 tbsp raw pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp raw walnuts or cashews (or both)
1 tbsp raw sunflower seeds
1 tbsp chaia seeds
Cinnamon to taste
1 tsp Maca powder (I recommend Nativas Naturals)
½ tbsp raw honey
4 drops stevia liquid (vanilla flavored)
- Combine hemp hearts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chaia seeds, Maca powder and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon
- Add almond milk, coconut milk or rice milk to cereal mixture OR add cereal mixture to full fat Greek or coconut yogurt
- Add raw honey OR stevia drops to sweeten
- Dig in!
